Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for Chemical Sensing: A Tutorial Review

چکیده

The field of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based chemosensors has been experiencing constant growth for several decades. Since the beginning, their continuous development driven by need simple devices with optimum selectivity detection various compounds in fields such as medical diagnosis, environmental and industrial monitoring, food toxicological analysis, and, more recently, traces explosives or precursors. This review presents an overview main research efforts made so far MIP-based chemosensors, critically discusses pros cons, gives perspectives further developments this field.
